Kr'Tal System
The Kr'Tal System was conquered by Clan Taldryan shortly after the migration from their former system, Karana. The system's inhabitants were relatively undefended and unprepared to repel the powerful Dark Jedi invaders and soon acquiesced to Taldryan's rule. After time relations began to grow more naturally, with both counting on the other for different reasons. Kr'Tal is located in the Expansion Region just outside the Inner Rim.
Volcanus is the closest planet to the sun and is extremely hot, home to House Archanis. Next up is Taruma, home of House Ektrosis. Taruma's land is almost completely covered in rain forest. Getting lost in the forest is a deadly mistake many foreigners make. Third from the Sun is Karufr, home planet of Taldryan. It is where the clan has set up its base of operations. Karufr is also the center of all the commerce in the system. Next is Lanchi. It is partly unexplored. The rest of the planet is very mountainous. The fifth planet and home of House Dinaari is Altur. Altur has a massive mountain range that touches every continent. It is almost impossible to be on Altur and not have touched set foot upon the mountains. |

Ateliuc is a beautiful gem in the Kr'Tal system. The planet is lush and mostly water, yet not defenseless as some may assume. Golari is a majestic looking planet with a mixture of gases giving it purple clouds. The planet is a gas giant and completely uninhabitable. Muraght is the eighth planet in the Kr'Tal system. Kaltace sits as the fartherest out planet in the system. Many moons, stations, and an asteroid belt round out the makeup of Kr'Tal.

Volcanus
- Class: Geo-Thermal
- Diameter: 4,532 km
- Atmosphere: Type I
- Climate: Molten Heat
- Gravity: Standard
- Terrain: Mostly lava rock
- Length of Day: 17 Standard hours
- Length of Year: 298 Standard days
- Approximate Population: 500,000
From space, the planet Volcanus looks like a barren, uninhabitable rock. One of the planetary defense platforms that was almost completed still lifelessly orbits the planet. Volcanus has a very resistant atmosphere which makes it difficult to fly to the surface. Ships that make it through are led to the Military spaceport which was the first structure Archanis constructed when they arrived. The planet's surface is covered in active and dormant volcanoes, with small cities scattered around them.
Aughran
A perfect miniature of the planet it orbits, Aughran is called by some a test run experience for Volcanus. Barren deserts and deep valleys carve gashes into the landscape as surface water is non-existent. High winds and fine grained sand force any who walk on the surface to wear custom breathing masks along with protective gear for their eyes. Used more as a training area than anything else Aughran houses a few hangars for members of Archanis to send new recruits to practice flying under extreme conditions. It is rumored that previous leaders of Archanis had placed missile defense silos on the moon before the house was merged with Dinaari, but such things have yet to be confirmed.
Altoa
This is the most hostile continent on the planet; Altoa has the most active volcanoes in the entire system. Molten lava filled with numerous types of liquid metals and rocks cover large portions of this place, forcing the lone city Sindyal to relocate whenever a tide of lava heads its way. The plus side of having such an active volcano system is the rich resources that spew from the core of the planet so that they can be harvested for Taldryan. Mythra, a valuable metal used in jewelry settings, is one of the metals that come from the core of Volcanus along with Thoranium which is used in the making of durasteel.
Sindyal
Due to the harsh conditions in which they live, the people of Sindyal have constructed every building out of cheap plasteel materials. Since they are forced to move their city on occasion due to volcanic activity the people own few non-essential goods and most that live here have no family. The main line of work here is gathering the molten lava and using special tools to sort through and pick out the valuable Mythra and Thoranium to be sent off to Yoren to be processed into usable products.
Febon
On the opposite side of Altoa lies Febon, the calm and manageable continent on Volcanus. Again only one city inhabits this continent but the people here don't have to fear relocation of their city because the volcanoes on Febon are inactive and have been for some time. The ground is made from a tough volcanic glass capable of supporting almost any weight and with a fine black and blue polish it makes the continent look as if it's built on the void of space itself.
Yoren
The buildings here are also made of the same volcanic rock and glass as the continent itself, letting the city blend perfectly into the landscape. Three foundries and a small port make up a large chunk of the city with two of the foundries processing Thoranium and the third to handle Mythra materials. Under a guard of Taldryan soldiers from House Archanis the shipments of the two valuable resources are sent to Karufr to be sold to the rest of the galaxy.

Taruma
- Class: Geo-Morteus
- Diameter: 5,400 km
- Atmosphere: Type I
- Climate: Humid
- Gravity: Standard (1.10 Standard)
- Terrain: Jungles
- Length of Day: 22 Standard hours
- Length of Year: 332 Standard days
- Approximate Population: 2.8 million
Taruma is a typical jungle world. Shrouded in plant life, there are but two seasons on Taruma: wet and dry. During the wet season, torrential rains pound the surface with few breaks. During the dry season, the sun beats down on the planet and temperatures can get as high as 110 degrees Fahrenheit. This vicious cycle has created an almost perpetual mist in the upper atmosphere which makes details hard to see from space.
Life on the planet is mostly confined to the well over five million species of plants located in the vast forests on Taruma. There are few areas that are genuinely clear and suitable for human habitation, but that's probably because the sentient species on Taruma are plant-like creatures that co-exist with the forests. Very in tune with nature, these normally docile creatures were upset at the arrival of Ektrosis, but subsequent peace negotiations have permitted Ektrosis to settle in one of the larger clearings in the jungle. While it is usually against Dark Jedi policy to negotiate, the Quaestor of Ektrosis thought it better to be polite than to be strangled by angry plant vines.
In addition to the plant life, various lizards, primates, and insects inhabit the forests and call it home. There are two great oceans on Taruma, both of which are filled with numerous species of aquatic life. Preliminary investigations actually reveal that a type of porpoise in these oceans has the ability to talk and converse, although they may be using a language of their own devising.
Oyonea
With over seventy percent of its surface covered in water Oyonea is the largest provider of sea food for all of Kr'Tal. Delicacies ranging from the size of eggs to five foot long fish are exported on a daily basis as the peoples living there are constantly out on the seas in their boats to haul in more and more goods to ship. Small fishing villages dominate the landscape rather than large scale cities as the interior of the continents are used for raising fruits and vegetables. Technology is kept to a minimum due the desires of the inhabitants to live a somewhat simpler life.
Folgan
This western continent is layered with jungle and all sorts of plant life. Life on the continent is mostly confined to the well over five million species of plants located in the vast forests on Folgan. There are few areas that are genuinely clear and suitable for human habitation, but that's probably because the sentient species on this continent are plant-like creatures that co-exist with the forests.
Lenroth
The larger of the two settlements on Folgan, Lenroth is hardly what anyone would consider a city. The populace here spends its time tending to the jungle and keeping in harmony with the sentient plant life. It is thanks to those that live here that House Ektrosis is allowed to inhabit the planet, because if no one took care of the plant life here the sentient species would fight back and force the people out.
Westhi
Westhi is a small encampment located a few miles south of Lenroth and is used by Ektrosis to send its newest members out to learn about the Force and its interaction with all forms of life. Those that don't return are not searched for but rather left for dead.
Ecarnat
Ecarnat is the forest that borders Folgan and its jungles. This is the forest that has been cleared out so that people can inhabit the continent.
Silah
This is the only other continent on Taruma that's inhabited by house Ektrosis. Here the land has been cleared in some areas for civilization to grow. In an odd contrast this continent has numerous forests with swamps scattered at random points. It's on this continent that the headquarters for Ektrosis that is isolated from the other cities so that normal civilian life can't interfere with the important work of the house.
Etrosium Prime
The main economic hub for Taruma, this city is designed like a grid of streets and buildings. In Etrosium Prime most people are employed by TaruCon Supplies, the processing and shipping company for the produce that Taruma makes. Here the spaceport is busy with commercial shuttles and transports ferrying the produce to their destinations while bringing in luxury items such as custom clothing and military products.
Pohme
This city intertwines with the forests that surround it instead of just clearing it away. Lying on top of what used to be a rather large swamp this city constantly deals with ground stability problems as engineers still try to solidify the soil. Here scientists and doctors gather from Taldryan to experiment with numerous types of biological life to create cures and weapons.
Fohnor
This town is where all the produce comes from for the planet and exporting. A few small square miles of actual construction are surrounded by vast tracts of land that has been leveled out from hills and trees to be plowed and tilled for the natural fruit plants and vegetables. This town utilizes more actual living beings to farm the land rather than machines due to people's want of living a simpler life.
Anavarac
This is the largest forest on Silah. Trees spread as far as the eye can see as vegetation covers all ground possible. Anavarac has remained untouched by technology or civilization.
Dralzen Sea
Here calming blue and green waters are full of coral coves and shallow sandbars. Few carnivorous animals inhabit this sea, rather a large collection of exotic colored fish and serpents live here. Large waves and storms are a rarity on this sea making this place an ideal vacation spot to get away from the hassles of life.
Ektrosis HQ
Library of Lears
The Library of Lears is an ambitious project begun by the House Summit in 27 ABY to rebuild the Pride that all Ektrosisian's should carry with them. Placed on the shore of the Continent of Silah, on the Sea of Dralzen, the Library proved to be one of the largest building in the Kr'Tal System.
Construction was begun without a hitch, and the Library was soon completed. Constructed off the side of the cliff, only the main spire and the two supporting spires reached above the level of the ground from the top of the cliff. The Library's entire mass was concealed by hanging it over the side of the cliff, so that it hung over the water below, and offered a unique experience to all visitors.
Echo 7
This small orbital platform can hold a crew of 15 and house six fighters. Ektrosis claims this ancient planetary satellite and uses it to train their men in star fighter combat. In time of war it will be control by the Taldryan Security Service.

Karufr
- Class: Terrestrial
- Diameter: 10,340 km
- Atmosphere: Type I
- Climate: Temperate
- Gravity: Standard (1.50 Standard)
- Terrain: Grassy plains
- Length of Day: 24 Standard hours
- Length of Year: 359 Standard days
- Approximate Population: 25 million
Upon entering the Kr'Tal system, the Houses of Clan Taldryan all traveled to the planets they had pre-scouted and planned to occupy. The Clan Summit, with their advisers, assistants, workers, and guards made their way to the lush, third planet of the system, Karufr. The planet is mostly ocean; however there are three large landmasses as well. The terrain on each landmass varies slightly. One is quite mountainous, one contains a very large jungle, and the third is made up of mostly plains with a large canyon in the middle.
Oteuky
A moon covered more by landmass than ocean Oteuky is considered by many members of Taldryan to be a perfect moon for vacations for the more adventurous type. Mountains scattered on the continents provide wonderful opportunities for rock climbing and the view from the mountaintops are fantastic. Gentle rolling hills accompany grassy plains to allow leisure hikers and outdoors type a relaxing day or two of just sitting out in the sun on soft dirt. Warm temperatures with little humidity and few rainstorms leave the skies clear blue as divers can visit the oceans and lakes to do some scuba diving or just float in the gentle waters.
Amaho
The most unusual of all moons in the Kr'Tal system, Amaho's surface is easily spotted from even a distance due to the ocean's composition. The chemicals Vanadyl, Cobalt, and Vanadium all combine in the waters of this moon to form an almost milky white color. A stark contrast against the blackness of space the moon has one large landmass of a cream colored brown. The mix of these three chemicals has made living on the moon impossible and visiting very rare. Still, Consul Duga Taldrya Arkarso admired the settings of the moon and ordered that a space station be setup so he could visit his beloved moon. Infinity Station was built to serve as a research platform and a personal retreat for reigning Consuls. It is one of the greatest mysteries on how those three chemicals could have come to be at the same place. Some think that asteroids may have brought them there while others think that the chemicals may have been dumped there by certain people in power.
Teramon
This is the notorious mountain continent. Karufr is not known for its mineral deposits yet this landmass has many large mines and foundries that roll out the life-blood of the ever-growing industrialization of the Taldryan home world. Two garrisons are manned on this continent as well as large underground training facilities for the Obelisk knights. Auxiliary Naval fighters as well as local miner's guild terra-fighters patrol the skies to ensure that the minerals are safely sent to their destinations. Efforts are underway to rapidly expand and increase the output of the mining industry here.
Rarel
This city is the central hub for the mining activity on the Teramon Continent. In the center of Rarel is the processing facility for Axidite, the metal used to form protective coverings and control boxes. The streets are full of cargo trucks delivering loads of the metal to the small starport to be taken to Karufr Calidomar.
Klu Naga
This garrison is located a few miles northwest of the main processing center. A group of Interceptors usually do flying drills here to keep in form while small platoons of soldiers set up on mountain ranges and do sniper practice.
Mei'ntal
This small town is a luxury resort for the social elite and the leaders of Taldryan. A fairly isolated place there are no roads that go in or out of the town with the only way to get there is by ship. The second garrison is located only a mountain top away for security purposes as guests enjoy their time in resorts.
Osterith
The second garrison has fighters on standby launch pads as pilots do their training in simulators to be ready to launch for defense of Mei'ntal. A small group of shock troopers do drills in the ranges along with a few Obelisk soldiers from the training facility at Caidon.
Caidon
Located under the mountains of Qu Xil this installation is shut off from the rest of the world by tons of rock and thin layers of un-mined metal. It's here that some of the new Obelisk recruits to Taldryan come to begin their training. In this location they learn the basics of hand to hand combat, wilderness survival and some melee weapons tactics.
Thana
Not much is known about this jungle continent. It is the smallest on Karufr and the least populace aside from millions of animal life forms. Thick underbrush and forests prohibit any real exploration or development at the present although a few local shrines operate on the northern shores. Ektrosis has established a small outpost here to investigate local legends and archaeological finds here linking Exar Kun to this region.
Suthist
Location of the small Ektrosis outpost this place is manned by a few Krath Priests and their assistants. They spend their time researching a temple nearby that may be the ruins of ancient Sith Lords. The locals avoid this place because of many stories of those who enter the temple and never return.
Ren Tulzen
This town is lightly populated with natives and few outsiders. This town is secluded by thick jungle with almost no technology that interweaves with life. The natives keep to themselves and avoid all contact with the Krath researchers at Suthist.
Kul Lyn Forest
This is the largest forest on the Thana continent. Both official law and local suspicions about the true contents of the forest keep out residents and travelers. Trees are packed tightly together so that the interior of the forest is dark and traveling to the interior is difficult at best.
Karufr
This flat and rolling continent lends its name to the planet. Karufr is the heart of the indigenous population with nearly 75% living in the beautiful cities and villages dotting the landscape. The locals have fertilization techniques that match interstellar standards and can produce astounding amounts of grain and other needed foods. Idyllic and serene, this continent is where the Taldryan headquarters is located.
Karufr Calidomar
This is the main capital for the Headquarters of Taldryan. Here the ore mined at Teramon is sent to the other planets and ship docks to be used for ship computers. This is the largest city on the planet with merchants and military personnel on leave traveling the sites of statues and the outside of the official headquarters for Taldryan. The city is loaded with hover cars transporting people to numerous cites for shopping and tourism. Here the Consul and Proconsul spend much of their time working towards the betterment of the clan.
Loth Setien
A small farming community filled with agricultural drones and row upon row of yellow grains. Here people work with the drones sun up to sun down to provide food for their protectors.
Welbutr
This is one of two coastal cities that sports vacation harbors for those of middle income. Here anyone can get away for a few hours and enjoy the calm blue waters of Dru'tal.
Karufr Remas
The military starport resides here along with the maintenance for Taldryan's ground mechanical forces like their two Self Propelled Heavy Artillery units and their Mobile Planetary Defense Super Lasers. A few AT-STs and AT-ATs are on station. The LAAT's are rotated monthly to and from this port to the capital ships for Taldryan's fleet for special maintenance.
Eathsi
A medium sized town with a rental speeder place for the younger population. Fortunately for miles around there's nothing but short grass fields and small hills to provide a form of excitement for those that enjoy high speed riding.
Joc'olan
The other farming community on Karufr, this land is cultivated with small bushels for fruits. Small mounds with vegetables are in rows laid along the southern side of the city.
Epidome Mountains
In the western regions is Epidome Mountains and they are some of the gentlest sloping ranges possible. Covered in tall grass and soft dirt this is an ideal range to go and relax. Tall and slightly curved trees provide shade against the evening sun as random bushes with wild berries litter the hill sides.
Nas Gral
Along the southern coast these mountains cover every little inch of land. These ranges are barren of any vegetation with rough terrains and high cliffs that make passage difficult.
Sq'Van Sea
Actually the northern ocean of the planet Karufr, it is the deepest and most mysterious waterway. Geological analysis shows this ocean may have been created when a large meteor crashed down on Karufr bringing water crystals and most astoundingly microorganisms to the planet. This theory would corroborate the reason why some trenches here are nearly five kilometers deep. The frigid glaciers here are home to the most prehistoric and monstrous beasts. Navigation is only possible during the four summer months as during the winter and fall seasons the entire area is densely covered in ice caps.
Ishtali Fjord
No one knows who constructed this small islet in the Sq'Van Sea yet it is man-made. Locals tell of it being created by the original settlers of this planet, an unknown species of navigators who were marooned on Karufr millennia ago. What is most puzzling is in its labrythian outlines and structures there is only one actual room on the entire complex, some fifty kilometers wide. This room is said to hold the communications array to the navigator's long-lost home world, which they hide so carefully that they had the entire compound sealed off and the survivors banished to the corners of the world. Aside from legends this small island is as hostile as it comes on Karufr. Avalanches, frost heaves, earthquakes, blizzards; and even mammoth serpentine predators roam this island, guarding the so-called 'Navigator's Temple'. The only Taldryan presence here is a small scientific station manned by droids and overseen by a team of scientists.
Placiro Sea
The southern Ocean of Karufr, which separates two of the three continents, it is also the most voluminous and abounding with flaura and fauna. Dotting this waterway system are tropical atolls and island getaways that the locals cling to dearly. Truly it is paradise with very few predators and many exotic plants and wildlife to gaze upon. A Taldryan Complex has been built on a larger atoll as a resort and spa for the many members and leaders of the Clan.
Taldryan HQ
Information on the Taldryan Headquarters is available on Taldryan.net
Taldryan Temple
After construction of Taldryan's headquarters was completed, then Consul Kir Taldrya Katarn ordered that a temple be constructed in the jungle nearby. The Temple would be the home of Taldryan's Rank Initiation Rituals, mysterious ceremonies that would signify each member's advancement through the Brotherhoods rank hierarchy.
No clear paths led from the Headquarters to the Temple, as if it had been dropped into a clearing in the center of the jungle. The Temple was large, but the surrounding jungle seemed to swallow the structure, making it appear much smaller than it is. Outwardly it did not appear to be an architectural wonder, but rather a very simple stone structure. The real marvel of the Temple was the use of its interior space. There were ten rooms inside the structure. Two were large audience chambers that backed up to each other, and each large chamber had four smaller antechambers. The chambers were lined with different types of stone, and were all designed to be easily modifiable for the many different rituals they would house. All of these rooms were connected by a maze of corridors that were built to confuse Initiates who would travel through them.
The same workers and artisans that had constructed Taldryan's Headquarters had quickly gone to work on the Temple, after a "polite" request from the Consul. They had worked night and day and managed to complete the Temple in record time. The Consul then had the workers move in the many artifacts Taldryan had brought with them when they have fled the Emperor's Hammer territories, as well as the force-enhanced objects that make the many Initiation Rituals possible.
Kir Taldrya Katarn and former Proconsul Sharad Taldrya Hett personally presided over the opening of the Temple, using ancient Sith incantations to ensure its sanctity. Nearly every rank elevation in Taldryan takes place inside the Initiation Temple. These rituals are known only to the Consul and the Ritual Master, an elder and respected member of the Clan, as well as those who have gone through them. The Initiation Temple is both feared and admired by the members of Clan Taldryan, who yearn for promotions but fear the mysterious rituals that accompany them.

Lanchi
- Class: Adaptable
- Diameter: 8,944 km
- Atmosphere: Type I
- Climate: Slightly cold
- Gravity: Standard (1.00 Standard)
- Terrain: Mountainous
- Length of Day: 26 Standard hours
- Length of Year: 377 Standard days
- Approximate Population: 212,000
An extremely mountainous planet, Lanchi wasn't part of the main colonization plans of Clan Taldryan until just recently. Initial settlements have succeeded far better than hoped for, as explorers are interested in moving away from the mountain continent of Var Tiest and trying to move to the more agreeable southern continent of Var Nifr. While mountains still prevail in the south they're not the only feature of the continent. For now Lanchi will remain a colony world, used as a waypoint between the capital Karufr and the home of Dinaari at Altur.
Eutuotti
Unlike the planet it orbits, Eutuotti is a little more than a frozen ball in space. Constant blizzards and snow storms blanket the moon with snow and ice as sunlight is a rarity keeping the moon in a constant freeze. Mountain ranges cover most of the eastern and southern portions of Eutuotti while on the west and north contain hundreds of small frozen lakes and permafrost plains. Typical native animals resemble wompas and tauntauns but so far researchers haven't been able to establish a genetic link to those two beasts. One small winter resort lies on the face of a western mountain offering ski slopes and hunting trips for the well to do of Taldryan.
Var Tiest
The largest continent on the planet, Var Tiest has no natural level plains. This mountainous continent covers the entire eastern sphere of the planet and any city built onto this continent has to be carefully constructed to conform to the landscape. Some peaks of the mountains reach high enough into the atmosphere that travel without breathing support equipment is impossible.
Norsth
The first city to be established on Var Tiest, Norsth is built into the largest cliff face in the continent. All buildings are carved from the stones of the mountain with hover craft and half dugout tunnels are the only was of getting around the city. This remains to be the smallest city on the continent with a population of only a few hundred people.
Clinamt
This city is actually on the inside of the mountains instead of being built into it. Artificial lights are strung throughout the numerous tunnels that connect the city and in the main area large industrial sized lights are used to simulate night and day for the inhabitants. The mainstay economy of this city is the mining of Jenraux crystals. These precious gems are used in the manufacturing of light sabers this city is highly prized by Clan Taldryan.
Pilth
A large chunk of Var Tiest was leveled and flattened by construction equipment to make room for the city of Pilth. This city is encased by mountains and more portions are flattened out as needed. Pilth is the city that produces a hearty type of vegetable that is able to survive in the mountain terrain and can survive long times in containment. A small military port resides here with a transportation system for the Jenraux crystals to be shipped to Ateliuc for special cutting and export to economic allies.
Yu'Kul'Baz Mountains
This mountain range covers all of Var Tiest and is made of a fairly stable but workable rock. Every single edge and facet of Yu'Kul'Baz forms an angled slope and some of the peaks of this mountain go very high up into the atmosphere while some chasms have been believed to run halfway down to the core of the planet.
Var Nifr
This continent lies directly opposite of Var Tiest and remains largely unexplored. Some forestation is present on this continent along with valleys and mountains. These mountains aren't as large as the ones on Var Tiest, they're more towards the sea level and satellite images have shown what appears to be a large depression of what could be a mountain that collapsed in on itself thousands of years ago. Lakes and ponds dot the land randomly and a few scales of plains with a strain of grass/grain cover the dirt.
Dorminse Ocean
Hardly an ocean due to its depth, Dormisne is large in size but is only thirty feet down at its deepest spot. Filled with more plant life than animal gives this ocean a more greenish hue than other bodies of water. Shallow edges are home to small purple and red fish that devour all forms of plant life in their path, but due to their small size and numbers the plant population is very stable. No canyons or chasms line Dorminse, this ocean is composed of smooth silky sands that layer the floor.

Altur
- Class: Adaptable
- Diameter: 5,000 km
- Atmosphere: Type I
- Climate: Warm (-15 to 40?C)
- Gravity: Standard (0.90 Standard)
- Terrain: Mountainous
- Length of Day: 25 Standard hours
- Length of Year: 380 Standard days
- Approximate Population: 500,000
Altur is a relatively small world, made up of large valleys surrounded by threatening mountains. The mountains stand as a defense against the onslaught of asteroids and space debris that easily travel through the planet's weak atmosphere. Hidden in the mountains are great networks of tunnels created by an ancient civilization that is no longer in existence. The atmosphere is Type I breathable, but is very thin compared to most planets. Fortunately, with such a small sun this allows for enough heat and no harmful radiation to reach the planet. The only major asset lacking from Altur, is its water sources. Water is very uncommon above ground and the Alturians had rarely seen running water. Upon Dinaari's arrival they quickly set up water mining stations to take moisture from the air and from underground, so that human life could be sustained on the planet. These mining stations helped forge the alliance between Dinaari and the Alturians.
Altur was first discovered by ingenious pirates looking for an out of the way planet in which to conduct their smuggling operations, and to have a base in which to sell their goods. Discovering the ancient tunnels, the pirates used them for smuggling and other criminal operations. The pirates thrived for decades without trouble from the Galactic Empire. However, when the Rebel Alliance became a threat to the Empire, the pirates were forced to flee their planet from fear of the Empire discovering their hidden base while searching for Rebels. Ironically, the empire never found Altur, but found the pirates as they tried to escape from the Kr'Tal system.
Aifuhr
The first of two almost identical moons, Aifuhr is an extremely humid moon with numerous tiny islands scattered about in a random fashion. Beautiful beaches crafted by the ocean and nature surround the edges of each scrap of land as the inner most parts of the islands are filled with plants ranging from plain green to exotic colors of purple and red. Poisonous insects along with a few other larger animals capable of killing humanoid species have kept colonization of this moon down to a minimum. Only biologists and their teams go to study the life forms on Aifuhr in the hopes to learn more on how the creatures live and if it would be possible to coincide with them.
Utamu
The second of two identical moons, Utamu is almost like Aifuhr in the fact that it also has hundreds of tiny islands all over the planet with vast oceans. Instead of beaches however, most islands are encompassed by high cliffs that lead down to rocky waters filled with coral reefs and typical aquatic animals. Here colonizing hasn't been slowed down by poisonous creatures but rather by the limitations set forth by Taldryan leadership in an effort to maintain a natural beauty in the Kr'Tal system. Land animals are scarce on Utamu and it's been theorized that once the moon used to be more land than water, then when Altur's gravity pulled it into orbit a shift must have occurred to cause the water levels to rise and force most animals to adapt to an aquatic lifestyle.
Utampa
This is the northern most desert continent used exclusively by House Dinaari for the training of its members. Here Obelisk soldiers are trained to use distance weapons such as blasters and rocket launchers as well as melee weapons like knives, vibro blades, and sabers. The roughest stones of the Aturach Mountains stretch into this continent providing excellent survival training for the newcomers as well as refreshers for experienced veterans. Sith members are taught basic flying skills in a TIE fighter in simulators first before being allowed to utilize an actual fighter first as well as being forced to learn the physics of atmospheric flight. Once ready trainees are given stripped down versions of the actual fighters to use in case any of them make a mistake and crash the ship.
Kythan
Here is the only place where the mountains influence is seen the least. The valleys formed by the chasms of the Aturach Mountains have allowed settlement on the Kythan continent for three cities. Fortunately the slopes here are at a very manageable angle for farming which allows the people to take care of themselves and not have to rely heavily on imported goods.
Cefath
The only city to actually have a source of fresh water located underneath it, Cefath is the most self-sustaining city on Kythan. Buildings and streets aren't set down in a grid like most civilized places, rather streets wind in almost every direction and houses and shops are set down in random intervals.
Mocan
Mocan is the most industrialized of the three cities on Kythan. Here half the city is built into the mountains to allow easier transportation of the material Ditanium, which is mined in certain sections of tunnels inside the mountains. Ditanium is used in armor plating that covers military installations and is one of the main reasons Altur was colonized.
Winrak
The rough and tumble town of Kythan, Winrak is littered with bars and brothels of every sort. Gangs run rampant and brawls fill the streets as local law enforcement turns a blind eye to criminal activities due to payoffs.
Fotin
Fotin is the forest continent on Altur with lush green trees and small flowered plants covering most of the ground here. Despite no large source of fresh water here the plants have managed to grow to become less dependent on water and rely more on the sun to sustain themselves. The Aturach Mountains blend well with the trees to provide a protective barrier for the people that inhabit this continent.
Dolta
This is the city where all civilian and merchant space traffic must check in first before being allowed anywhere else on the planet. Here a medium sized spacesport can accommodate roughly forty transports at any given time and still maintain order in the skies.
Guin'Fay
This is a must stop place for merchants looking to sell their wares. Guin'Fay is a large tourist attraction, bringing visitors from all over to see the artwork that is in the city's numerous cultural buildings as well as some very well known clubs.
Amalian
The desert continent Amalian is the most dangerous one on Altur. The Aturach Mountains cover this entire continent with sharp stones and perilous cliffs. It is here that Dinaari places its headquarters and has its military starport nearby for defensive purposes as well as practical ones.
Alturius Prime
The capital of all Altur this city houses the headquarters of the house with a small civilian population along with it. The city isn't built with the Dinaari headquarters in the middle; rather the city is built in a straight line with it. There is one major road way that is off limits except for Dinaari personnel to travel to Shui Loth where the military port is located.
Shui Loth
Dinaari's military fortification makes up the city of Shui Loth. Here supplies are delivered from Dolta to be inspected before being taken to the ships that protect Altur. The surrounding cliffs and drop offs have been leveled out to make a large clearing to ensure that no one can approach the base without the knowledge of the military. Shuttles carrying the crew and troops of the orbiting naval vessels to the planet for leave or additional training.
Aturach Mountains
This is perhaps the largest mountain range in the entire Taldryan system. Aturach's mountains spread to touch every continent on Altur. The types of rocks in this range alter almost every mile from hard edged to almost soft and sponge like. It's almost impossible to be on the planet and not set foot on this mountain range.
Tolbot Mountains
This icy mountain range is the only source of fresh water on the planet. Located far south of the other continents Tolbot doesn't provide enough water to maintain the populace on Altur which forces Dinaari to import most of its fresh water needs from neighboring planets.
Dinaari HQ
Information on the Dinaari Headquarters is available on DJB Wikipedia

Ateliuc
- Class: Pelagic
- Diameter: 9,888 km
- Atmosphere: Trace amounts of nitrogen
- Climate: Standard
- Gravity: Standard (1.00 Standard)
- Terrain: Mountainous, Oceanic
- Length of Day: 20 Standard hours
- Length of Year: 398 Standard days
- Approximate Population: 210,000
When Ateliuc was first discovered civilians were banned from ever going down to the planet itself. Taldryan had decided that this planet would make an excellent fallback point for their space navy and accordingly set up depots and supply areas along with planetary ion cannons and housing for soldiers. As time moved on the planet was opened up to civilians as stability spread throughout the Brotherhood, allowing Taldryan to take a more relaxed stance with its military. With a nicer environment than Altur, Ateliuc has become a regular R&R planet for new members of Dinaari coming off their first few weeks of training.
Urani
Uriani is the only moon in the Kr'Tal system that has an ice blue tint to the atmosphere due to trace amounts of Xenon. Viewed from space this moon would appear to be nothing more than a frozen wasteland but stepping on the surface one would find that isn't the case. The temperature is slightly cooler than what mammals can tolerate but not so much as to prevent habitation. The core of Urani however doesn't fill the entire center completely, leading scientists to believe that the moon will inevitably collapse in on itself. From orbit around the equator of the moon there is a visible canyon that goes down a few miles below the surface. Almost certain that the canyon will be the starting point for the future collapse of the moon the few cities that are on Urani are constructed as far away as possible.
Kre'Tak
This is the second smallest continent on the planet with only one city for civilization to flourish. Kre'Tak is home to the Blidge Forest, a place of local legend and mysticism to those that live on the continent. A few wild fields of fruit bushes and trees are scattered across the land with rolling hills and no mountain ranges. Soft and fertile soil has made this continent an ideal area for farming and raising livestock.
Cha'van'su
This small town has relinquished its use of all forms of major technology and has decided to live as a more hardworking and honest society. Keeping mostly to themselves the people have managed to create enough farming and a textile business to be self sufficient.
Blidge Forest
Located on Kre'Tak this forest covers large portions of the continent and is rarely traveled. Locals believe that this forest is home to spirits that were once people sacrificed by natives to their gods. Strange noises and eerie glows can been seen and heard at night with figures ranging from human to animal like being spotted glowing white or red. Locals refuse to enter the forest and the few Journeymen from Taldryan that have entered have never returned. Not only have ghosts been reported but tales of upright walking serpents the height of small children have been supposedly seen. Scientists refute such claims but won't venture into the woods to prove or disprove this theory.
Dolsioud
The largest continent on the planet, Dolsioud has a few mountains and plentiful waterfalls. The clearings here are used for farming grain and vegetables with only one larger city having much industrialization. Only one mountain has anything worth mining which is the bronze like metal Kelsh used to decorate clothing and making basic tools.
Xo
Being the main city on Dolsioud, Xo is the home of all major economic activity and tourism. The starport here was designed and constructed entirely by the top military minds and using Clan Taldryan resources for the purpose of having a suitable planet side command post in case the clan had to fall back at Ateliuc and Rancor Lair.
Ourrn
This city is an alternate supply depot for the backup base. Warehouses sealed off by high walls and guarded with electronic security systems hold crates filled with everything from rifles and pistols to hand held rocket launchers and warheads to be used by star fighters. Some minor repair equipment and communications gear is stored here as well. The civilian population is limited directly by the clan to ensure the safety of innocents and the security of their stockpiles.
Etix
This is the processing city for Kelsh, the city of Etix is located at the base of the Frida Mountains. As well as mining the bronze metal for export the people here help produce parts for speeders and components for engine blocks used in capital ships. Perhaps the most industrialized city on the planet, Etix sunsets are purpler and red due to the amount of pollution produced from the factories around the city.
Kidr
Kidr is a tropical paradise of choice for retired Taldryan elders and top Brotherhood counsel members. Sandbars and tropical trees surround the outer ring of this continent while the interior has waterfalls and lagoons. Small resorts along with the port city are filled with accommodations and boats available for charter to take guests out to explore the Lanf Ocean. No industry is permitted on the island to help keep the natural beauty in pristine condition.
Palorius
The only town located on Kidr, this dream resort is lined with small huts and has natural sand roads that lead into the jungle or to the coast where the citizens can go boating or relax on the sunny warm beaches. Local fruits are kept on the island as a special privilege to the retired members of Taldryan. Only the current Consul or members Dark Side Adept from Taldryan or above are allowed to live or visit in Palorius.
Nostramus
The desert continent of Ateliuc, Nostramus, is hills and valleys of hard rocks and sand. Few oases are to be found here, however sandpits are far too common. Travel is limited to a few square miles outside city limits and only those on religious pilgrimage dare to go deep into the hot wastelands.
Grendari
This center of this city has one of the grandest temples in the Kr'Tal system. The outside of this religious palace is constructed from ordinary sandstone but the insides are a work of art. Gold inlay lines the black marble pillars inside the church and paintings composed of deep blues and greens provide a stark contrast to the white stone walls. A small oasis on the southern border of Grendari provides fresh water for the inhabitants of the city and irrigation water for small home farming.
Vogth Ocean
Marred by the sand storms that blow from Nostramus, the Vogth Ocean has a yellow brown appearance. No fish inhabit these waters and no one dares to take water from it for fear of becoming ill. The only other source of water for the desert continent, Vogth has a small refinery next to it to boil and re-boil the water for desalinization.
Lanf Ocean
Lanf, the main ocean for Ateliuc, is a large source for the fishing industry and exotic sea shells to export for decoration purposes. Sky blue waters combined with yellow and red coral reefs scattered almost everywhere and coves against cliff edges making Lanf seem like a perfect place to just relax. However some of the most aggressive and dangerous sea creatures live in this ocean. Variants of sharks and large types of squid hunt these waters and will devour any kind of meat they can find. Time and time again locals have tried to kill off the populations of these predators but they have managed to survive to keep lurking in the ocean.
Rancor's Lair
This is a naval base for Clan Taldryan. While the fleet's home base is centered around Karufr, the Rancor's Lair is a fallback point as well as the main repair yard for smaller vessels. The Lair has a garrison of auxiliary Taldryan soldiers as well as three squadrons of planetary fighters. Although no Force users are stationed here there is a small security force that rotates shifts regularly. To defend the Lair small shield generators and ion cannons are placed strategically on the planet's surface.

Golari
- Class: Gas Giant
- Diameter: 50,000 km
- Atmosphere: Unbreathable; Ar/Xe
- Climate: Constant storms
- Gravity: Heavy (5.00 Standard)
- Length of Day: 30 Standard hours
- Length of Year: 412 Standard days
- Approximate Population:Uninhabitable
This gas giant is the only other orbiting body in the Kr'Tal system that is uninhabitable. Golari's atmosphere is composed of Argon and Xenon which give off a purple and blue coloring due to the electric storms all over the planet. Probes sent down have only reached partway down into the atmosphere, after reaching a certain depth the probes are crushed by the pressure of the gas giant. Three moons and one small station are the only places near Golari for people to live with mining being the sole industry. The extreme conditions of this planet have created small Kerol Fire-gems used in jewelry. Only specially constructed drones can dive down into the atmosphere and grab these tiny stones and return with minimal damage.
Puihylo
The first moon orbiting Golari, Puihylo is as uninhabitable as the gas giant itself. Dense atmosphere and constant tornadoes have prevented investigation of the moon's surface. Much isn't known about the dark moon except from one probe that managed to take a few pictures and send them back to its dispatcher. The images and sensors reported a large oceanic mass that could possibly cover the entire surface of the moon along with wind storms as strong as two-hundred mph. It is highly doubtful that life is able to sustain itself in such a hostile environment but some heat signatures were spotted before the probe was destroyed. Many have dismissed such signatures as having to be volcanic vents while others believe that they are proof of some life forms.
Irtai
The most unique feature of Irati is its purple ocean. No chemicals have altered the appearance but rather the entire floor is covered with an amethyst coral reef. Most life in the ocean has adapted with skin colors to blend into the flooring. Some dangerous snakes and shark like creatures live in the oceans of Irtai making it too dangerous for the scarce residents to try any sort of activities involving the ocean. What land does poke out from the ocean is the typical mountain style landscape with few planes and many cliffs. One valley on the northeastern portion of the continent harbors the only town on the moon while the rest of the surface is left to the rare vegetation and the animals that eat them or each other.
Idyni
Idyni is perhaps the only moon orbiting Golari that even looks remotely close to being able to support life. While the other two moons around the gas giant look to be the works of an artist gone mad this moon looks like it's covered in nothing but plants with no discernible land forms or oceans. This assumption isn't too far off in actuality. Hundreds of rain storms per year combined with a mildly humid atmosphere provides the perfect conditions for thousands of different types of plants to thrive on the surface of Idyni. At the southernmost portion of the moon a clearing is kept up by inhabitants utilizing lasers and fences that are necessary to keep the large vegetation at bay.

Muraght
- Class: Terrestrial
- Diameter: 10,329 km
- Atmosphere: Type I
- Climate: Temperate
- Gravity: Standard (1.20 Standard)
- Terrain: Oceanic
- Length of Day: 22 Standard hours
- Length of Year: 429 Standard days
- Approximate Population: 21,000
Covered completely with water Muraght would be more home to aquatic aliens rather than mammalian ones. For humanoid species to even live on the planet special domes have to be constructed that can withstand pressure from the waters. Scientists have theorized that thousands of years ago the planet once had continents that poked above the waters but due to plates shifting under the planet those landmasses eventually slid under the ocean. Home to thousands of underwater animals and countless types of unknown micro organisms Muraght is a dream world for marine biologists. Mostly clear skies and shimmering blue waters define this world as a sapphire in space.
Yauvw
Black soot and ash cover almost every inch of this moon. Once highly active volcanoes dotted the land hundreds of years ago but now those same volcanoes have gone dormant allowing for civilization to thrive on Yauvw. As with most previously active volcanic areas Yauvw is rich in metals and stones from the moon's core. Mining is the main economic source here and forces the inhabitants to rely heavily on imported foodstuffs since the land isn't suitable for farming. Most of the time one of Taldryan's corvettes is nearby to handle situations from pirate attacks to evacuations from the surface.
Axida
A large plateau on the southern portion of Muraght, Axida was once an active volcano as well but went dormant four hundred years ago leaving behind a big enough area to build a domed structure for people to live in. The edges of this plateau have a large drop off into black canyons and small mountain ranges. Civilization isn't likely to expand here due to the expensive materials and equipment needed to make habitation possible as well as the large sea serpents that live on the opposite side of the plateau that keep to themselves unless provoked.
Yoren
Protected underneath a large plasteel dome this city coves only a small portion of Axida but provides a highly prized material. The active volcanoes in the surrounding area produce Sittana Marble, a well grained stone used for constructing grand halls and palaces in places like Coruscant. Automated drones with a few sentient beings for crew go out and collect the material from the volcano and sent it through a conveyor belt inside the city to sort out the Sittana Marble and put it in cargo containers to be sent to float to the surface. Small automated droid shuttles come down and grab the containers and take them to their destinations.
Ventrum Ocean
The only ocean on the entire planet, Ventrum covers the entire surface of Muraght with deep valleys and underwater mountains as well as a single continent suitable for habitation. Active volcanoes under the ocean still spew out contents from the center of the world to form mounds of materials that in a few thousand years will be able to pierce the surface of the water and make life above Ventrum possible. Sea creatures of all kinds inhabit this ocean from neon colored fish at the deeper levels to small algae eating animals.

Kaltace
- Class: Geo-Inactive
- Diameter: 3,270 km
- Atmosphere: Type I
- Climate: Frozen
- Gravity: Standard (.75 Standard)
- Terrain: Frozen mountains and wastelands
- Length of Day: 19 Standard hours
- Length of Year: 462 Standard days
- Approximate Population:Unknown
This frozen wasteland is completely uninhabited, being far too cold to sustain any life. Some members of Taldryan claim to have seen shuttles going down to and coming up from the surface from time to time. The Consul and Proconsul have dismissed these reports as nonsense. What is really going on there is not known.
Kythan
This is the northern mountain range on the almost uninhabitable frozen wasteland of Kaltace. Made of mostly ice instead of rock the Kythan ranges are perhaps the most dangerous for anyone brave enough to go down to the surface to try to explore.
Goen
This western range actually curves upward and manages to slice through the Kythan Mountains and cover fifty-five percent of Kaltace. Orbital pictures have revealed that deep valleys run along the Goen Mountains, leading scientists to believe that a large quake occurred sometime within the past three hundred years causing the mountain to collapse partially and form those chasms.
Haemato
The only mountain range to not connect with any other Haemato is the southern most mountain group and isn't any different from the others. The only real significance of this range is that Valkry Station keeps in geosynchronous orbit with it.
Norast
This eastern range is the only range made mostly of stone instead of snow or ice. Blizzards are the most frequent along the Norast Mountains as crosswinds blow over the range and force storms to frequent over this range.
Gintaqui Ocean
The entire surface of this ocean is frozen solid with the edges being the only place were glaciers and slow flowing water chunks can move. Fifteen feet below the surface water remains in liquid form and it has been theorized that some form of fish may be living in the Gintaqui Ocean.
Valkry Station
This is the only location on Kaltace that can sustain life. Kaltace is a frigid planet devoid of any kind of atmosphere; hence only orbital and domed complexes are present. Valkry Station is home to the most advanced of sensor arrays in the system that can detect all ships entering and leaving the area. It is the first warning of invasion and first line of defense in case of attack. This GamTal Corporation prefabricated station can accommodate up to five thousand people. There is a landing bay as well as a small shipyard that can build small barges, freight carriers, and even small star fighters. Valkry Station is the home of the ever-growing maritime power of Taldryan and the heart of the process of producing ever more ships to connect the system. The military bases rely on Valkry Station for its warehouses of supplies as well as staff, which live here. The Taldryan Consul and Proconsul are known to make visits to the station periodically.

Platform Information
The XQ5 Platform was designed by the Telgorn Corporation as a replacement for the XQ2 Platform. It had larger cargo bays and a larger upper docking bay on the central structure.
Many were used as simple stations and outposts by various organizations. The Galactic Empire, Rebel Alliance and a number of businesses used the platforms for research and development, command posts, and customs stations. This diversity of usage made it a popular choice for a light space installation.
Taldryan History
The XQ5 Platform was acquired by Clan Taldryan after the Seventh Great Jedi War. With the Iron Throne secure and an expanded Dark Council waiting for direction, the Grand Master started his renewed tenure by commissioning the reconstruction of the Dark Hall. He also commissioned Dark Council Embassies to be built in each clan system. The Grand Master announced to the Consuls that the Dark Council would place in each system a Platform to be used by visiting Dark Council representatives, but to be run and controlled by each Clan. Taldryan took advantage of the opportunity and positioned the platform orbiting their home world, Karufr. Re-designated as Citadel Alpha, the facility is used by the Clan for business transactions and as a short-range defense platform.

Station Information
Taldryan History
Orbiting Karufr's moon Amaho, Infinity Station serves a dual purpose. The station is home to a modest research team attempting to uncover the secrets of Amaho's ocean: how and why the strange mix of chemicals found in the waters came to be. Several other projects are overseen by the group but remain classified. The primary purpose of the station is, however, governmental rather than scientific. It was originally constructed to serve as a secondary place to rule Clan Taldryan, and the Kr'Tal system, from. The station has been used to deliver addresses to the entire clan and is the place where the Consul prefers to receive visiting dignitaries.
While the glory and power of Clan Taldryan are demonstrated through huge size and imposing architecture in the Headquarters compound, Infinity Station relies on understated elegance to convey the same message. The two different approaches were specifically selected to show that Taldryan is not dominated by a single philosophy, but rather is open to any new idea which will aid it in it's goal of conquest and subjugation of the five lesser clans.
The landing bay of Infinity Station is decorated with a row of large banners representing Clan Taldryan, Houses Archanis, Dinaari and Ektrosis, as well as the reigning Consul's personal warbanner. Once visitors leave the docking bay, they are taken through hallways tiled in Wayland marble and decorated in artworks which were both purchased and seized by Clan Taldryan during its conquests.
There is a medium sized hall which the Consul uses as an audience chamber and has been the site of many addresses by the Consul. The hall is oblong shaped, with a large double door made of some of the last Kriin wood exported from Alderaan before its destruction by the first Deathstar. Opposite the door, there is a raised platform, it is from here that the reigning Consul grants audiences from his Greel wood throne - which is removed when he delivers an address. The State of the Clan Address for 27 ABY was delivered from this room in Infinity Station. There is not enough room for the entire clan in the hall, so the only individuals who were invited to attend the address in person were summit members from Clan Taldryan, former Consuls and Proconsuls, a hand full of members from each House, and the Dark Council. The address was broadcast in real time for the members of Taldryan who were not invited to the address.
In addition to its research and public relations functions, Duga Taldrya Arkarso added a private living suite to the station during his reign as Consul. Unlike the public areas of the station, this suite is fairly plain. While Taldryan is not above using opulence to impress visitors and remind them of the power and prestige of their hosts, the clan has not allowed its wealth and power to go to its head. The Consul's suite consists of four rooms: a small library and artifact room, a physical training room, a meditation room and a small sleeping room.
The library holds a small number of books from Taldryan's larger library which have been reserved for the Consul's use, or books which he has requested be sent up to Infinity Station. In addition, the room also has space to hold a few Dark Side artifacts which the Consul is studying. The room is very simple: the floors are wood and the walls are lined with wooden bookshelves. There is a large table in the middle of the room with a number of chairs around it. Duga Taldrya Arkarso was known for holding small meetings in this room, especially meeting with members of the Taldryan Summit. The best examples of Adegan crystals mined on Merach are sent to Infinity Station's artifact room to be held by the Consul and given out as rewards.
The physical training room is a medium sized open space used by the Consul to train his body to fight more effectively. The one notable thing about the room is that the floor, walls and ceiling are impregnated with cortosis to prevent a dropped or thrown lightsaber from puncturing the outer hull of the station.
The meditation chamber itself is fairly small and simple. The walls and floor are glossy black and the only things in the room are a few pillows for the Consul to rest on while meditating and a low table to hold holocrons, incense or any other meditation aid the Consul desires. One wall of the chamber is a window which looks out over Amaho. This is one of the most private areas in all of the Taldryan Dominion and the Proconsul is one of the few people who will be allowed into the meditation chamber.
The sleeping chamber is, as its name implies, a small room in the Consul's suite designed to allow him to sleep on the station when he desires to do so. Although it is not overly luxurious, the sleeping chamber is comfortable. It has a bed, night stand and a moderately sized closet, as well as an attached refresher station. Duga Taldrya Arkarso is known to spend many nights sleeping on Infinity Station, especially when he has dedicated himself to completing a project Sometimes he will spend weeks at a time on the station, which has caused members of Taldryan to wonder if their Consul had disappeared on them in the past.
Infinity Station follows in the footsteps of Darth Sidious' Emperor Palpatine Surgical Reconstruction Center: scientific research combined with governmental office and personal retreat.

Teagon Asteroid Belt
Teagon Asteroid Belt is located in orbit around Kr'Tal between the planets Muraght and Kaltace. The belt is of moderate size with most of the rock formation looking menacing, thought to be a deterrent for many that may come across the system. The area has been checked for mining opportunities, but the profits wouldn't match the cost overall. Some defense measures have been placed throughout as well as sensors that transmit data to Valkry Station when in range.
